Tudor x Bucherer - The Black Bay Bronze Blue Edition
Introducing the Black Bay Bronze Blue Edition…
Tudor has announced a collaboration with Bucherer as part of the latter’s Blue Editions line – the Black Bay Bronze Blue. Bucherer are Europe’s oldest Rolex and Tudor distributor and as part of the company’s 130th birthday celebrations they have been collaborating with the world’s most important watch brands to create Bucherer Blue Editions. Today we can reveal that the latest release is a Blue Edition Black Bay Bronze.
The Black Bay Bronze was unveiled at Baselworld 2016 and has been a huge success with significant waiting lists at dealers across the world. Measuring 43mm across it’s marine-inspired bronze case is manufactured from a bronze alloy that develops patina unique to its wearers lifestyle. The original version featured the first Tudor dive watch to house a 3-6-9 dial that was chocolate brown, as was the matching bezel insert. We loved this watch so much that we decided to dedicate a line of 23mm leather straps specifically for the ‘Bronzo’.
The Blue continues the maritime tradition of the Bronze line and celebrating the blue of Bucherer and also the iconic blue of Tudor. The vintage Submariners from Tudor were available in blue and the blue snowflakes, utilised by the French National Navy, are one of the most important watches in Tudor’s history. The Pelagos Blue was the most recent blue Tudor but now we have the Bronze Blue.
The watch will be exclusively available through Bucherer outlets across Europe from the end of May.
