Tudor MN Blue Snowflake Party
Dear readers,
there are some of these days where you look through the viewfinder and just feel magnetized by the coolness you find at the other end of the lenses. So i could not resist some of showing you some of the images of 3 amazing Tudor MN Snowflakes aligned when a dear friend and client brought his MN’s for a talk and some food to the B&S Lounge.
Enjoy!
Trio Mortale… 3 snowflake Tudor MN’s. 1982, 1980 and 1976.
Classic Tudor MN Blue Snowflake Watches
The 1976 Tudor MN Snowflake
This watch is an amazing cool piece. In my almost 10 years of collecting i have owned a couple of Tudor MN’s and Rolex Milsubs. I have met original owners and listened to many stories about how these pieces where used professionally. I can tell you, when you hear those stories you understand why a watch like this 1976 MN looks as it is. With some scares and patina. Many of these pieces where used by special forces combat divers and took hard action and most hostile environments. And you can feel every bit of history of this watch in its details.
So one could say… ohh no polish the case, replace the inlay etc to make the watch look new again. But then you don’t understand military issued combat diver watches…
The 1980 Tudor MN Snowflake
This watch also has an amazing look and feel to it. Just the right little amount of patina difference between hands and dial, cool case and beauty of an inlay. It is featured in the Service Ledges as written about in our big Tudor MN article:
The 1982 Tudor MN Snowflake
My personal little blue love. Picked it up from an long time collecting friend last year and still love to wear it. The blue of the dial and snow flake hands gives the watch such a popping and warm feel. Just totally its own style even with an case of an regular Submariner. Its one of these watches that makes me smile every time i put it on.
This example comes with french navy decom papers.
So you see… 3 times the same watch. But 3 times a different feel and look. That is what we love about vintage watches. With these issued military Tudor watches you can feel the history and heritage of them. Pure tool watch fun.
Thanks for watching.
