Beschreibung

This lovely square dress watch, crafted in the 1930s, was actually designed to function as a doctor's watch, featuring a large, central seconds hand, a rarity for the time. The inclusion of a prominently displayed seconds hand and a detailed minute track allowed doctors to measure a patient's pulse with greater precision, using just one hand. This design was marketed to doctors as it was much easier to use than the more common small-seconds displays of the time.

This watch is cased in a square 26x36mm case. including the so-called rolled-over lugs. It remains in excellent condition with a snap on case back. The two-tone silver dial features an outer brushed section with Arabic numerals and a matte inner with painted Roman hours. The watch is fitted with no lume blued hands. The movement has been fully serviced by our watchmaker and will come on the pictured Bulang and Sons leather strap.

We would love to discuss this lovely vintage Omega watch with you guys. We are here to help!
